Yaaaaaa fotos!
The first should be me with Noémie and the puppets that we made for the workshop about leadership, in Bua.
The second should be an example (although a particularly bad one) of some of the poverty in Bua- there's no trash service, and a lot of people just toss it out in their own yards, or burn it, creating seriously contaminated plastic-chemical-burning air.
Wilson (one of my favorite Tsa'chilas) in his finca with me, showing me his fino de aroma cacao (I thought it might help to see the inside- you can suck the pulp off of the beans and it's delicious)
The next one should be us at the Tilapia (fish) pond, catching fish for dinner at night. Daniel is in the orange shirt.
Me in the back of a truck with Mariuxi, Alfonso, and Elizabeth on our way to the farewell dinner for the British volunteers- Mari and Eli are Alfonso's daughters, and I lived with them in Bua
Tilapia being cooked wrapped up in a special leaf (I forget the name now) over the fire- the woman in the background is la abuelita, Alfonso's mother
My terribly bitten foot- believe me, the photo doesn't do it justice
